Our support helps fund the amazing work done by our partners on the ground
We work with charities and organisations, and through the dedicated staff and leaders of our partner organisation, Mamkhulu.org, to effect change in the schools and areas where they are located.
Mamkhulu.org is dedicated to providing continuous support to vulnerable children and youth, meeting their essential needs while delivering important services and outreach within the community. Our support enables them to continue their key offerings which encompass education, food, counselling, advocacy, healthcare, access to transportation and building relationships.
Mind

Learning, Confidence & Opportunity
We support our partners to provide safe, nurturing spaces where children can develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically and beyond. This includes:
-
Hope camps - creating a safe environment where children engage in resilience building activities, receive counselling and participate in sport and creative arts. The camps help them develop life skills and build self-esteem
-
Homework clubs - providing structured after-school support where children can receive individual support with homework and school assignments
-
Reading clubs - which encourage a love of books and literacy through guided reading, one-to-one support, and activities that build vocabulary, comprehension and imagination
Body

Health, Nutrition & Active Play
We support children's physical wellbeing, recognising that good health is essential for learning, growth and happiness. This includes:
-
Feeding schemes and food packages - reducing food insecurity and helping families that are struggling, ensuring children have access to at least one meal a day so they can focus, grow and thrive
-
Sports and activity programs - offering structured physical activity; from team sports to movement and play sessions that promote fitness, teamwork, coordination and self-esteem
Soul

Emotional Safety, Resilience & Belonging
We support the emotional and psychological wellbeing of vulnerable children, ensuring they feel heard, valued and supported. This includes:
-
Counselling services - providing trained, child-centered therapy to help young people navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, poverty, insecurity or difficult life experiences
-
Mental wellbeing support - mentoring, group sessions, and resilience building activities that give children the tools to manage emotions, develop coping strategies and build self-worth
